Sidestepping issues with the new Dartford Crossing Payment Scheme

Taking motorists across the River Thames, to the east of the nation's capital, it's no surprise that the Dartford Crossing is a route well-travelled by business fleets. Estimates put the number of vehicles crossing each day at a staggering 160,000.

With such a large number of vehicles using the crossing, the move to a new scheme of payment was initially welcomed by most.
